ROP stands for Regional Occupational Program, which is a program designed to provide high-school and adult age students with access to course material that prepares them for entry-level jobs in fields of their choice. The fact that ROP employs people that are or have very recently been in the fields they teach about ensures that the students are receiving cutting-edge knowledge.

Discipline policy (students rights and responsibilities):
1st incident: Student complies with the teacher's instruction but has the right to request a private discussion with the teacher after class to discuss the issue and possible solutions.
2nd incident: Student has the right to request a meeting with the teacher after school to discuss why the issue is continuing and why the solutions they discussed aren't working. The student then presents further solutions to try to resolve the issue.
3rd incident: Student has the right to request a meeting with administration and their parents/guardians to discuss why the issue is still unresolved and what measures need to be taken to finally resolve the issue.
Attendance policy:
1. If you miss a day, you are required to make up that work. No exceptions. If you are missing work, you get an "incomplete".
2. Assignments have a set due date, after which they do not receive full credit.
3. There are no due date extensions for unexcused absenses.
Tardy policy:
1. Tardy means you’re not in your seat and ready to go when the bell rings (out in the hall, etc.)
2.
Every three unexcused tardies, you’re spending 40 minutes (2:35-3:15) in my room after school.
3.
If you don’t show up, you have detention.
4.
If you don’t show up there, they give you a referral.
5. Purpose: Class, like a job, starts on time or you get penalized. Act like a responsible adult and this policy won't apply to you.
